…which is often a surprise, and sometimes even disappointing, for new contacts that are often looking for advice on valuing and negotiating to buy a business.
My focus is purely on raising the debt required to buy a business (or indeed any other finance for businesses), rather than the task of acting for a buyer to structure an acquisition. Of course I have seen the process many times in my career, and I know the benefit that an appropriate advisor will bring. So my role is to introduce prospective buyers to the right professionals.
People describe my approach as “staying in my lane” and the insight from those years in dealing with a large and varied list of successful transactions is helpful when times are challenging.
Long-established and trusted relationships with decision-makers in institutions that are actively lending, allied to technical knowledge; translates into reliable results for fund-raising.
– and I am grateful to my network of fellow professionals to provide the right input for clients, to bring plans to fruition.
